1/2 Half Day: Walk and Wade
Our most popular excursion, a half day wade is a great way to wet a fly line if you are limited by time constraints or think a full day is a bit too much. Half day mornings typically depart between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., with 4 to 5 hours of on water fishing time. Keep in mind both ambient and water temperatures when choosing a departure time. We recommend 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. departure times for winter, spring and late fall trips. For summer trips, when temperatures are on the hot side, we sometimes recommend start times around 7:30 a.m.
We like to describe wade trips as being our most intimate offering. You will be completely immersed in your surroundings, literally standing in the river both watching and listening to the river rush by, flipping over rocks in search of aquatic insects and taking in beautiful scenery around every bend. Wade trips are ideal for the beginner and expert alike.
